Mariga Latest Victim In Racist Attack
The Nerazzurri patron was targeted as part of a racist attack on the club.
By Salvatore Landolina Feb 2, 2010 10:48:00 AM Inter president Massimo Moratti has become the latest victim of a racist attack after his villa was vandalised by criminals. La Repubblica reports vandals sprayed the words "no more negros" on the gates of Moratti's home in the province of Lecco, near Milan. Speculative coverage suggests the incident is linked with the arrival of Kenyan international McDonald Mariga, who joined the club from Parma on Monday, though local media said the writing first appeared last week following Inter's 2-0 win over Milan in the derby. It's not the first time the club have been affected by such problems. Mario Balotelli has often been a victim of racism this term, with some of the abuse coming from his own fans. Inter have not spoken publicly about the latest attack. Comments (5) Views (1151) Date Published (Tue 2nd, Feb 2010) ADVERTISEMENT
