Toy Market(Kibera)...........1 KIBERA based Toy Market FC are the Langata Constituency winners of the Extreme Sports sponsored tournament after eliminating the well drilled Young Salibey with a solitary goal in a thrilling match staged at the Nairobi City Stadium. The all important goal was scored by Paulino Odwar in the 48th minute. Earlier, Kennedy Okumu's goal in the 36th minute for the victors was disallowed for offside. The victors will now pocket Shs.60,000 for winning the Langata constituency slot. Huruma Youth..........2(3) Sofapaka Academy.......2(1) Huruma Youth yesterday won the Starehe constituency slot after eliminating Sofapaka Academy 3-1 on post match penalties after both teams tied 2-2 in the normal duration time at the Nairobi City Stadium. It was tears for Sofapaka faithfuls who were cheered by among others the senior team technical bench officials led by John Bobby Ogolla, Martin Ndagano and the players led by Harambee Stars midfielder James Situma. In the normal regulation time, Huruma scored through Frank Saka and Elijah Mbugua while Sofapaka replied back through Francis Ouma and Kevin Lugano. In the penalty shoot-out to determine the eventual winner, Huruma converted their spotkicks through Salim Chacha, James Irungu and Jimmy Mutuku while Adan Alaki shot out of target. Scorers for Sofapaka were Goalkeeper Philip Odhiambo while Kevin Lugana, William Owino and Peter Wainaina shot out of target to send Huruma fans wild with jubilation. Leviticus...............2(4) Kabete Utd.............2(5) Kabete United lifted the Kabete Constituency title after eliminating Leviticus 5-2 on penalty shoot-outs on saturday at the Nairobi City Stadium. In the normal regulation time, Leviticus scored through Sammy Bavon(32min) and Martin Lemaiyan(47thmin) while Kabete replied via Robert Ochieng(37thmin) and Joseph Onyango in the 50thminute to extend the match to post-match penalties. Vapour Met..................5 Melta Kabiria..............2 Earlier at the same venue,Vapour Metro trounced Melta Kabiria 5-2 to win the Dagoretti constituency title. The tournament continues next weekend with four matches that will determine the winners of Kasarani, Makadara, Kamukunji and Embakasi constituencies respectively. The matches will be staged at the same venue(Nairobi City Stadium). The event is organised by Extreme Sports Ltd in conjuction with the Kenya Football Federation (KFF) Nairobi Branch. Ends.
